Position Description
Looking for a highly motivated TPM Intern to join the Technical Programs Team at Tesla.
This role would be an opportunity to work on projects across the complete Gigafactory with various teams on solving cross functional issues driving critical efficiency related decisions and tangible improvements and benefits for the organization.
What You’ll Do
- The technical program manager intern will support setting the right priorities in an environment with many competing needs associated to factory design. Focus will lay on the Powertrain Shops (Drive Unit, Battery and Cell Production)
- The role requires problem solving skills, exceptional teamwork, and communication skills
- The primary focus for this role will be supporting the Technical Programs Team to solve critical issues driving optimization projects across the factory, managing timelines on upcoming changes and tracking critical KPIs for the team
- You will support on workshop master layout design, permitting process, material flow, production line, building design through all major project phases including design, equipment specification and selection, procurement, construction/installation, integration, commissioning, buyoff and start of production
- Generate presentation content for project status updates
